Robin Wood meets Robin Hood

Robin was commissioned to make a bowl from a branch trimmed from one of Sherwood Forest's ancient oak trees.

Having found that one of the very few surviving Medieval oak bowls came from not far away; Austin Friary in Leicester, Robin set about producing a replica of it.

The bowl was commissioned as part of Sherwood: The Living Legend’s bid to the BIG Lottery Fund’s People’s £50million Contest and they sent along their own Robin to collect it. You can see the bowl being made and the two Robins meeting in the video below:
