A couple of weeks ago I took my lathe to Acton Scott the place where Victorian Farm series was filmed to film for a special episode of Countryfile which will all be about traditional crafts. Ellie had a go at making a plate on the lathe. The program will also feature my friend Adrian Legge the blacksmith and reruns of previous films with Phil Gregson the wheelwright and my mate Andy Bentham showing off the amazing game of Nurr and spel, it should be good. It goes out tomorrow Sunday 16th and will be available afterwards on BBC iplayer.

Looking forward to it.
Luck you. Ellie is a dish!
I try to catch all the episodes of country file on the iPlayer.
Ellie also wears the most enormous diamond engagement ring I have ever seen. 🙂

It is a good thing that some tv programmes address the ancient crafts. Unfortunately it is quite superficial. Although it is a little better than those programmes where people are in a competion: you don’t learn anything; you are just waiting for which candidate will have a nervous breakdown.
Otherwise it was very pleasant to look at. UK has also some fantastic landscape.
Sylvain.
Unfortunatly I cannot watch the program I would rather appreciate because I am ou of Uk (I am usually in Portugal but now in Sweden).
Kind regards
