Just finished 3 enjoyable days teaching carving wooden bowls and here are some of the bowls folks made.

Dave hollowing the inside with a Hans Karlsson adze.

Tamsin smoothing the outside with a push knife.

 Lots of axe work.

I normally hope folk will make 2 bowls each during the course but Mick made 3 bowls and a big spoon .

Richard brought his tools in this gorgeous split chestnut basket, it is apparently a grape picking basket from Italy.

And here are most of the finished bowls, not bad production for eight people in three days.

This was my last course of the year. I tend to put dates of next years courses up in late November and they book up quickly. If you would like me to email you when I put the course dates up so you get first choice send me an email.
