This is quite some distance from the sort of green wood carving that I enjoy or the medieval woodwork that inspires me but I love to see anyone who does stuff purely for pleasure and it’s lovely to hear him talking about his work. The pliers cut from a single piece of wood are pretty cool and the chain form and 8 foot 2″x4″ is great, half an hour per link. He never sells anything but how would you value the pleasure he has got out of doing this for 54 years.

awesome! he seems like the torch carrier of some of the hobo and tramp art of olden days. His stuff reminds me of Adolph Vandertie's work and amazing book on tramp art. In the end though i feel the same as you in that I really appreciate the work and approach of the artist but I'm not personally on the same path of work. cool entry!
He is so cute! And clever. Love the sizzors and pliers. Nice to see such a happy guy.
Love his attitude, and awesome skill and patience. Great guy. Good for him.
